I still vividly recall the Cybertruck reveal event when the CT was driven out onto the stage, and my first, second and third thoughts were that Elon was trolling us It could not possibly be that ugly— and I kept waiting for that Copperfield-esque moment (most certainly to involve curtains, smoke and confetti guns) wh

Starion.

This is exciting! You picked up a very nice example, with 3K oil change documentation and the IMS fix plus the “while I’m in there” items all done. Whatever premium you paid buying from a PCA member over a craigslist seller is going to pay off. Well done.

Sounds like a good opportunity to cover that FedEx hub’s roof with solar panels.

Is there any, ANY chance this could actually be registered for the road? I know some places have permits for golf carts to travel on surface roads within X miles of your home.... maybe this would qualify under something like that?

“Is there a computer model for wind “sound” that architects and civil engineers use?”

No, it doesn’t rain excessively here in NC. There was tropical storm Bertha off the SC coast this week that brought in the moisture. NC is very diverse - from the outer banks barrier islands on the coast to the mtns in western NC (tallest peak east of mississippi is NC’s own Mt. Mitchell). Lots of places in the state w

Take my Star, Sir LurkaLot.  You deserve it.

Great idea!!

Porsche already did a safari car - 12 years ago - but used a different base platform. Its probably better in every way except for looking slick while parked.

I’ve had both: 1988 911 and 2009 Boxster S. The Boxster was about the same asking price with 50K miles on it. An air-cooled 911 is a special thing, no doubt, but for real driving enjoyment I think the boxster / cayman is very very hard to beat.

I have no facts, except for the fact that $200 crashed Discos do exist, and low-mileage crashed land cruisers are 25X as much

because someone won a $200 bid for a low-mileage Disco with rear crash damage, and this became the answer.

YES! I played Stunts! constantly. There was an Indy car that would stay stuck at it’s top speed as long as you didn’t hit anything. We’d use the track editor to build crazy layouts to exploit the Indy Car.  so much fun

I’ve been CyberTricked. It’s so incredibly ugly, I was CONVINCED this unveil was a deep fake and the real truck was behind a curtain somewhere.   Nope!

Let’s not forget, these were the renders that were circulating in the last few months. I would take ANY one of them over whatever that was...

Tesla has a Market Cap of 64 BILLION dollars.

1979 Mustang Cobra! Mine didn’t have the Cobra decal, but otherwise looked like this. Carb’ed 5.0L making 147 horsepower, I think... Fun and loud but not really fast.
