Luckily for the owner, nobody can waiver gross negligence. If this goes to court, it’ll be cut and dried as old salami.

I run an aerospace company. Your argument vastly overreaches the scope of that NASA article or your knowledge.

I thought it might be a mistake at first but you did it twice... Do you not realize putting an m after a number means million?

Still not as cool as the bass/treble dial in the P2-generation Volvo XC70 (and presumably V70 etc). Just a little ~1/4"-wide bump on the dash, which you push and it pops up like a clicky pen, turn it to adjust bass. If you give the knob a little tug, it pops *further* out of the dash, at which point turning it adjusts

I hate to say it but yes... Yes you do. You (presumably) did already to drive in the first place. If you want to eliminate licensing requirements, That’s a whole other matter entirely but assuming we’re all on the same page that drivers licenses are good and reasonable, the suggestion makes perfect sense. For example, one of our aircraft is s twin-motor cargo

You have a piss-poor understanding of this situation and an appalling disregard for the fact that not everyone shares your specific economic circumstances.

2004 mkiv Golf GL,

As someone who travels in exactly this setup but with an ‘04 Volvo XC70 (the cool kid’s outback), I can agree it’s a great way to explore.

Convert it to electric but keep the manual. You’ll have all the fun of a midget without the engine that’s constantly trying to eat its own ass.

My Mom taught me to drive, and she learned in the UK where you actually need to demonstrate at least a modicum of driving ability to pass. Long story short, my first time out she decided to give me a bit of “real-world experience” by yanking the handbrake halfway round a 40mph bend and sending the car in a full 360
