You just described a bus. Same route, predictable time, catering to people going to work. You’re just missing the ride sharing.

Subscriptions for these things makes the MOST sense. People know they need cars, they depend on them. It would be great to take all the demand and turn it into reliable revenue. The customer does not care about using the ride service as much, and sees bulk discounting, the business gets less fluctuation in cash flow.

Yeah, can’t really blame the mom here. We’ve seen what airlines are willing to do to “unruly” passengers, and how far they’re willing to go to get customers kicked off planes over petty bullshit.

IIRC the competition has some pretty tough durability requirements. The only way to satisfy them is with huge rubber bumpers to protect the truck.
