Seriously, Jalops, this is it. The moment of truth. We need to buy this car.

Wow, it actually looks pretty nice! I can’t help but wonder, however, if the interior is standard issue GM. You know, the sort of looks-ok-at-first-glance, but then you start using it and realize it’s actually just lipstick on top of the cheapest plastics known to man. Either way, it takes some balls to drop a…
There are no babies involved in this scenario.
Often times, college students are required to purchase the university health insurance plan if they do not have adequate health insurance independently. There may be more options these days (I went to college before the ACA), but it seems reasonable that students would like to be able to access a procedure that is…
Are you really this stupid?
You have no problem with universities paying millions of dollars to have dudes throw balls around, but provide and fund an essential health service? Stupid kids, that’s a waste of money!
Of course it’s not free: It’s built into the cost of their insurance or university health fee. They just want to move services in-house and with something as time sensitive as a medical abortion, it’s a reasonable request to avoid the delays of entering another medical system entirely.
“Kinda sad we have to even make people of college age getting advanced degrees of an outcome like pregnancy, but people aren’t rational.”
You cannot ignore the consequences of what you propose. You did say “not this.” That’s not even “on the fence.”
These woman are fantastic. Side effect of Donald Trump: I’m so much prouder to be Californian than I ever was before.
Really? Ask the women in your life, if there are any, how they make decisions about their bodies. We know what poor decisions can do to our lives. Do they happen? Yes. We are humans, just like all of the imperfect human men in our lives that feel BC is our responsibility. We don’t eat plan b like candy, and we don’t…
People in college are already promiscuous as it is.
if people actually put more thought into their decisions then this wouldn’t even be an issue
You put it indelicately (and got into problematic territory) which makes it seem like you’re going the “loose women out there getting pregnant without consequences” route, and on this site you’re going to catch a ton of flak for that... but I see what you’re trying to say (I think).
BC fails. You can be super responsible and still end up pregnant. It is a myth that women, who regard our bodies very carefully, don’t think about prevention because we have access to abortion. Maybe ask a woman how she actually goes about life before you make stupid assumptions about how responsible we are.
The funny thing is I don’t begrudge him for leaning on Social Security. Finding his father’s body, losing him as a teenager, living with his grandma who had Alzheimer’s are all tragic elements that could have had dire consequences. He and his family needed Social Security, and they’re a prime example of the system…
He and his idol Ayn Rand have lots in common! Like that time they both utilized “government handouts” to prevent themselves and their families from going into poverty.
He supports free-market solutions for people with autism. Like...uhhhh...private companies taking the place of medicaid and disability assistance, I guess. Or churches doing it or whatever or...look, just shut up and read Atlas Shrugged, ok? It explains it all in there.
