I can totally see the same kind of exhaust that GM and BMW (etc..) are using in their cars w/ the module (I think) w/ the valve and flap. The Aussies are even working w/ the same co that worked on the HSV vehicles

KIA didn’t even consider the WRX when building this car, never mentioned once

They hired Albert Biermann from BMW M for this exact reason, I don’t see why he would really mess with the G80/90 (the G70 yes more or less) based on the competition
