Just update the V8 and the eTorque system, heck stick it in the transmission while they’re at it. There’s got to be some way of keeping the Hemi. Why not have an I6, a V8 and an EV version?  They are going to lose a lot of sales by dropping the V8.

How about a hybrid or PHEV with a solid state battery instead? Then it’s no news, because it’s just a ICE car with a lifetime battery, better fuel economy/emissions, and a really slick start/stop system.  So, the plug-in part is like a block heater, pretty much yeah.  It shuts off while your sitting in traffic or…

Jesus, I wish I made what they are making. I have a mechanical engineering degree from a Big Ten school and I’m 20+ years out of school. I agree wholeheartedly with manufacturing workers making more money. I hope it carries over to people in non-union manufacturing and small businesses in the industrial sector also.…
