I work in an area with a refinery and every single truck has a couple dozen strobe LED lights spread all over their cabs so you can see them a mile away, along with LED high beams.

My 62 Corvair had a black hood. Glad to see that style coming back.

Nothing wrong with that.

When electric motors go rogue.

*Sigh* I watch these come and go every day on BAT and wish I could grab one, but they go for pretty impressive prices and I’d have to pay another 6-7K for transport and taxes so I can only dream.

The truth hurts.

“Learn to save, not how to spend.”  My father used to say.

Until I read this article, I never knew these things existed.  What have I been missing?

How wonderful it is to live in a country with mega gas stations with a couple of dozen pumps with attendants who fill your tank for you and still do things like check your oil and wash your windshield and will even pump air in your tires if you ask them nicely and give them a small tip.

Because they have to make even more money than they are making now. Gotta pay the crew on that new boat.

^This^, I have a 2008 Prado diesel with a 5 spd. manual that has 250K on it and it still drives, looks (OK, paint is a little faded in spots), and smells like new. Still starts at a touch of the key and gets over 40 km per gal.

It’s on College Terrace a few steps up from Mission St., Now what are you going to do? Do you need my address for my hat?
