Nope, you’re correct. You picked it up just fine. Finn interested in Rey. Rey not interested in anyone. Poe not interested in anyone. I have no idea where this Finn x Poe thing came from...but okay.

Oh damn.
They don’t care. It’s only white queer deaths that they’re concerned about. The POC were treated like shit, murdered, and sidelined, from the beginning of the show and they only rebel when a white lesbian is murdered. Most of what I’ve heard about the 100 fandom is that it’s racist as hell.
Xena definitely wasn’t a lesbian...bisexual probably yes (both her and Gabrielle), but not lesbian. I recall them both having a number of male love interests throughout the show.
It is horrible. But that’s The CW for you. They have serious problems in their writers rooms (yes plural, all the shows). They don’t know how to do diversity well, and there is some serious love for that trope handbook (I assume they have several copies laying around).
Yeah, they’ve been itching to whitewash Colleen for a long time. In Daughters of the Dragon they even slip up and refer to her as a ‘crazy white girl.’
The Watchmen is a fantastic movie. One of my all time favorite superhero films.
I mean, by the standards of The Vampire Diaries, a show where absolutely everybody is selfish and heroism consists of “being slightly less petty and self-centered for a brief moment.”
They half whitewashed her. That’s actually not okay. It’s not okay for Hollywood to replace an Asian woman, with a biracial woman who is half European.
This is such bullshit. We call this light washing when a female character is black, but they cast a biracial actress instead (happens 90% of the time in Hollywood). So I’m going to label this light washing as well.
Collen Wing is half Chinese and half Japanese. Not half white. I suppose I should be happy she has some Asian in her.
Actually yeah, sort of. He was good as Trish’s boyfriend, he was okay getting involved with trying to take down Killgrave (although it wasn’t really necessary to involve him), but putting him on crazy pills? That just felt over the top. They should have kept him sane. Also, it was one story line too many.
I hope not, because I hated it. I thought it was the weakest part of Jessica Jones.
Slut shaming is never bad. GO FOR IT.
The responses to this post make me wish it was 2045 right now.
You are absolutely, fucking ridiculous.
You’re 100% right.
He’s too young. Misty Knight has already been cast and she looks to be in her late 30s.
I absolutely love comic book superhero costumes, but a lot of them just don’t translate into live-action well.
No he wasn’t. Everyone who died make their own choices, or rather, the writers made those choices.
