Most recipes just say “1 cup butter” etc. Obviously if it specifies that’s different, you use what’s listed. I’ve never seen a recipe specify a brand of flour...except when the recipe comes from that manufacturer.

I don’t disagree...but I could not ignore the disrespect off so many great foods ruined through a casserole abomination. It’s hard enough to stomach those that ruin only a single food that was already perfect in it’s original form.

I wouldn’t go to someone’s home that thought this was acceptable, it’s lunacy. But I would order, as in call/place online an order with a vendor of said food stuff.

....ugh...if someone did this I would just assume they can’t make any of the dishes this is a combination of correctly. And then promptly order the correct food.
