Vastly. Softer, more forgiving, larger, wider, lower, more imposing/road presence, louder engine, less NVH, etc. I do miss a third pedal.

Car is a perfect DD. I used to DD my 993 and then my 997.1 GT3. This one is by far the best for DD. Even with the LWBs you could blindfold a passenger and they wouldn’t realize they were in such an extreme car.

Well, the cost is misleading. Lockton has a questionable rep IMO. A few hundred dollars for a premium does NOTHING. Except give you the opportunity to file a claim and pay a five figure deductible in the event of a severe accident.

I’m the owner of the GT3; no HPDE insurance.

I daily drive this car, as I did my 993 that Bark mentioned and my 997.1 GT3 that I owned before the 991 GT3; Doug made a video about the old GT3. Usually in/around Buckhead. The current GT3 has the vanity plate “9K RPM”. I detest the cars and coffee scene, so you'll never see me there.

Funnily enough, that wasn't me. Bark and I did the August 4th event.

That's the peak recorded; skidpad is around 1.10 G. But the car can temporarily exceed that steady state performance due to a given curve(s), camber, hopping a kerb, etc
