The best I can say about her is the same I said about Herman Cain. They both died for their beliefs.

#1? Right thing to do? Are we talking about Mike “It’s right to give needles to people during an AIDS epidemic in my state but my fundamentalist morals won’t let me” Pence?
“Not that state violence is always the answer, but sometimes it is.”
“You shouldn’t need to rely on judges to be liberal/conservative in their interpretation of the law.”
I guess, “If you’ve done nothing wrong, you have nothing to worry about” only applies to us.
“If Pence has any brains”
I heard about that dipshit recording himself with the other white supremacists as they stormed the Capitol. Haven’t watched it. I’m just hoping his little stunt is covered under what my latest SHEro, Cori Bush is doing.
Garland’s record of siding with law enforcement in criminal cases should also be troubling. Then again it’s par for the course.
Why would Pence do that? He’s been complicit every step of the way up to now. And why would he or Republicans care about additional unnecessary deaths when they’re the reason the pandemic got out of control to begin with?
“What happened here today was an insurrection incited by the president of the United States,” said Romney, as captured by C-SPAN. “Those who choose to continue to support his dangerous gambit by objecting to the results of a legitimate and democratic election will forever be seen as being complicit in an…
“I saw the flag of the Confederacy there. What will we do? How will we confront this shame?”
He’s speaking but its not anything near strong terms. He downplayed their presence as a small group. He asked them to stop. There was no talk about how violence will not be tolerated even though there has already been a shooting. Most of his speech was just platitudes about decency and honor. Kudos to him for looking…
I’m still waiting for Biden to condemn these “protesters” as strongly as he did the police brutality protests. Where’s the talk about following the rule of law? Where’s the talk about how violence of any kind will not be tolerated? I guess just like the DC police’s weapons during this insurrection, that language is…
Right, thank you for highlighting why this isn’t a foregone conclusion. People need to wait until its officially called.
The Democratic party has already made it clear in their platform back during the convention that they have no intention of pursuing M4A. This is despite the fact that the majority of Americans and more than 50% of Republicans favor it.
Not if the videos we’re seen of them helping Kyle Rittenhouse, or flashing 3 Percenter signs, or thanking the Proud Boys for showing up at protests to support them are any indicators.
So turn their guns on each other?
Somebody might wanna tell Chuck to pump his brakes. The race hasn’t been called for Ossoff yet. He’s spiking the ball at the 1 yard line.
I appreciate what Angela McKnight did here. She used her position to get some justice for Tameka Bordeaux. She highlighted one of the latest examples of a problem as old as the USA and as common as apple pie. It’s kind of a small win but she did some good. 2021 needs more of that.
To be honest, it’s a shame that Black people are expected to show so much restraint in the face of flagrant racist attacks.
