My family falls in the ‘eat what’s served or don’t eat’ camp. Probably a consequence of growing up poor in developing countries, but being a picky eater wasn’t a luxury we were offered.

Yeah, I was really curious about how this would come up so late in life, as well. If OP’s been consuming gluten this whole time without a problem, I don’t see why they need to change their diet now.
You know what gets boring? Going to the same restaurant every time because Karen can’t eat meat, or bread, or pasta, and she doesn’t like lettuce.
I don’t think she’s eliminating salads out of pickiness, but more out of being very tired of always having to get the same thing.
There is literally no such thing as being ‘allergic’ to gluten and there is certainly no test for a gluten allergy (because such an allergy doesn’t exist), so either she’s lying to us or her doctor lied to her.
Hang on. Did she just say she was a vegetarian who couldn’t eat most bread or pasta while all but eliminating salads as viable option?
You’re a fucking garbage person.
Welp...you’re a dick.
The penalty for this isn’t being made an orphan. Try some empathy sometime, sheesh.
You just referred to them as people! You’re not supposed to do that. They’re gonna come take your maga hat away.
