I’m guessing Mcphee offered to take Moulson or Ennis but the price was too high for Botterill. Moulson would have probably required a 1st. Ennis is an intriguing reclamation project for Housley, so I don’t think they wanted to lose him for nothing, let alone pay Vegas to take him

It’s a risk, yeah. But he’s an intriguing prospect and approximately 1000x better than Thorburn. This isn’t a high-end talent draft though. Most pundits say the difference between the players between 10-25 Is not very great, and there’s no real consensus. Staying put where Vegas was and taking the best available

That’s a big, big if. All their 1sts are mid rounders in a balanced, but not electric draft year. Maybe they can package all 3 to move up into the top 3, maybe mot. As is, those prospects they take where they are now are not going to be Blue chips. They could have taken Staal to be 1st line center and iced a decent

It’s totally his own doing. Let’s look at the deal with the Jets

I’m not a Jets fan, but they cleaned up. They got rid of Thorburn (who God bless him, is still in the league) by moving down 11 picks in the first round and adding a 3rd. I’m not sure why Vegas even made a deal with them. They would have done better to pick off the exposed players list.

Knights, combined with the desert, so are they crusaders? Nobody knows, but it ended up being the sort of default team you can create in Madden ‘04

Yeah, from what I heard, the original team name was to be the Aces as both a military reference and a nod to casino life. The league expressly forbid them from including any allusion to gambling

There is no cap recapture penalty. He’s going on LTIR. This is 100% circumvention

The sound of a puck smacking the post/crossbar straight on.

Around 2009 I bought a ‘95 Mercedes C220. Anytime it got below 0 degrees (I live in Buffalo so it’s not unheard-of), the cruise control that normally didn’t work at all would cause the car to uncontrollably accelerate. One time I dinged a tree turning into my parents driveway because of it, and one time I was in rush

It’scrazy to me that these are considered “compact cars” instead of full-size sedans. My girlfriend has a ‘12 and it feels huge (especially compared to mmy ‘04 mini)

Your examples of Datsyuk and Zetterberg are miracle picks. Drafting #1 is the opposite of that
