Thanks for politicizing a relatively bi-partisan issue.

US 2.0 tdis spew lower levels of NOx than the UK equivalent, IIRC
You should try the 328d. No manual here in the states but comes in xdrive and is a beast in the snow. And looks better than the 1 series and the Sportwagen.
You seem to have rebounded nicely from yesterday’s black hole of despair, Kristen. Does that mean being a Billionairess is your night job?
The problem is that there are capital funds for new construction via bonds but not on-going funding for maintenance. Continually-rising wages/pension for state workers (beyond what private industry offers these days) means maintenance is cut because employees spike their last years’ wages and retire with $100K/year…
Keep kickin’ it, Princess. I snorked several times....
356A from 1956. This exact car, minus the headlights. The shifter was quite nebulous, brakes weak, handling awesome.
My mother wasn’t big on cars, but I remember: 1) in highschool, she once got up in the early morning to help me start an old truck when I couldn’t get the choke just right, 2) would stomp on that chevy caprice estate 454 like it was nobodies business, and 3) loved her old 80's 325 for all the right reasons. She’s…
I have an idea: All the Brits can buy these US 2.0 TDIs, which pollute much less than their versions of the same vehicles. Not a terrible idea, except for the fact that the US settlement forbids VW from selling these cars to other markets. This sounds unnecessarily punitive, but then I’m not a big smug California…
The previous version was a little light in the shorts and tin-canny. I opted for the golf Sportwagen last time. Available boxer 6? Diesel?
Will dealers be routinely marking up 5K to 10K over list? Is VW only making 5,000, again? What is list price? Would have purchased one in 2016 (to replace 2.0TDI) but couldn’t find a dealer within 500 miles that wasn’t goughing.
Is the E-brake still the Euro version or does the US get the desireable, standard cable ?
I hope there is a sop to the proletariat: sunroof delete and roof rails ala BMW wagons.
geniosity--he got’s it.

Do not want. Who is demanding these things? Or is Audi pushing a string?
With Lasers. Or Sharks. Or Both!
perfect--for oval racing.
I don’t want phone aps, I don’t want nav. I’d prefer auto manufacturers concentrate on building quality cars instead of worrying about phone software. You know all the problems you have with your phone re: updates and passwords? Why would I want that to spread to my car as well? I’d prefer complete phone pass-though…
Central Oregon used to use ground up volcanoes, but I think only Redmond uses that now.
