forecast: uber will run out of VC money 5 years before fully self-autonomous vehicles become feasible. The taxi service is a loss-leader to build a “brand”. This has sock puppet written all over it.

is anyone caring this is a v6 rather than a straight 6? presumably with a timing belt and not chain...? I get it, yes the v8 is the way to go, but since I’m going to run my wagon into the ground I’d like a NA v8/straight 6. And since I can’t find that, I’ve settled for the TDI 4. I’m looking for bullet-proof and

yes, blackadder was very funny. that was more sketch comedy and his partners in crime were also very funny. Baldrick, Fry and Laurie--good stuff.

nooooo. Mr Bean = super annoyance. Only in small doses is he entertaining e.g. Love Actually. An entire movie of him is completely cringeworthy, acceptable only to small children and Brits.

dude, when you spend the numbers of hours behind the wheel that I do, and you expense your mileage, it’s a reasonable solution. you can laugh all you want, but the cts-v and amg wagons get half the mpg. you are the choices you make.

i’m not a bmw fanatic either, so don’t really know. I do know the 2017 roof rack has different dimensions from previous years, so perhaps there was a refresh? don’t know, someone on bimmerpost would know.

maybe this has to do with the fact that BMW isn’t carrying their own paper anymore? I’ve purchased Hondas and VWs new, both financed by the manufacturer. But my 328d was pushed off on a 3rd party.

i heard they are dropping the 3 series wagon after 2017. if true, this wagon style would have only rub for 1 year in the usa.

that’s about what my 328d was out the door, and I’m happy to pay it. when you need awd for the snow, cargo capacity, range and something different from eveyone else, it’s not a terrible choise. their autostick is not too bad, but yeah, how hard would it be to offer the 4.4L with a stick?
