Why did the cops add “...and who are of Indian descent...”? Is that at all relevant?

Firstly, I can’t trust the police to correctly identify any brown persons race or ethnicity. Indian, Pakistani, American Indian?

Apologize upfront for what is a stupid question, or because I have missed something in the article, but when the release uses the words “of Indian descent” in this case do they mean someone whose folks at some point came from India, are Asian American (Indian American?), or someone who is First Nations? I see that

Yup. Clarification is needed, are they south asian or native american?

It’s already unfortunate that I can’t be sure who’s being referred to when a US website uses the word Indian, it really doesn’t help when it’s put in scare quotes as well.

always depressing to hear when minorities do vile racist shit like this, who wants to bet those two little shits are going to be on Faux News one of these days?

I don’t think they will go that far. It just needs to not hit like an Auto-Rifle High-Impact Frame with 900 RPM. Master of Arms also should get a small touch to be less powerful in this current sandbox.

They won’t nerf The Recluse until I finally get one.... THEN they’ll turn it into a lump of wet tissue paper (at least that’s what usually happens)...

You’d be done with DQXI by now if it weren’t for the other two. Conversely, you would have ran the raid a few more times if it weren’t for DQXI. But I’m glad you have the free time to play those three.

If you’re a student or a bachelor that has a surplus of free time...Then yeah, you’re right.

The new seasons in D2 address your concerns about repeated activities a little. Each season will have new activities that are only active that season to level stuff up. Like the Vex Offensive this season. In a few months it will be gone and a new mode(s) added to give a new path to leveling up.

I’m definitely the kind of player that plays an exceptional amount of Destiny. At least a few hours most nights. I haven’t felt the grind to be bad at all really. I think it’s been quite rewarding compared to other seasons and expansions.

It really depends on your personal schedule and it sounds like you have lots of time. I get about an hour or two at the end of the day to play games during the week. I basically have to play Destiny and nothing else in that time if I want to get all the weekly milestones done for the power climb.

The only part so far that has felt like a huge pain is Randy’s Throwing Knife. 450 Scout Kills, 14,000 Points of Multi-Kill Medals, and 2,000 Glory Earned. It’s a shit ton of Medals and Kills for a gun that isn’t so great.

I’m right there with you. I hop on for a couple of hours a night then I go do something else. Ultimately, this is a game, and I allow myself to have fun with it.  If I miss out on stuff, then I just miss out. FOMO only counts in life experiences for me.

Not sure what you mean by “this game never changed and continues to not change” because quite a lot has changed with Shadowkeep.

I would posit that the grind was always asking too much. Destiny wanted me to enter an exclusive relationship, but I want an open one in which I can play other games like Fire Emblem, Astral Chain, Link’s Awakening, Hitman 2, DBFZ, Red Dead, etc. It’s great for people that want to play just one game, but that’s not

I agree, and I do think that’s the case for a lot of catalyst quests. I think Eriana’s Vow is especially bad because, well, the gun is really only helpful in specific cases. It’s not something I want to equip for Crucible, yet that’s the fastest way to complete the quest. I don’t want to equip it for many other

As a long-time player, I absolutely hate the grind for most exotic gun and exotic catalyst quests (or anything else tbh), but I do think Bungie has toned down some of the grind in the past year. The Deathbringer quest actually isn’t that bad, and can be done while you complete other weeklies and dailies pretty easily.
