Brown Estate is fantastic! The winery is for members only but you can get that online although flooding may have changed things up there so call first. They opened up a tasting room in downtown Napa not too long ago and the best bet is make a reservation before you visit. For everyone else, I recommend visiting

what kind of food are you making??  ive been trying to cook more indian food.  it always smells so damn good and at least at home i wont be surprised by whats in it.

I really like Wachira as they are Kenya/Alameda based. I did a tasting the owner/proprietor was there and she made it even more enjoyable. Their sparkling wine is fantastic and goes with just about any food. I really liked their take on a Zinfandel.

What are some of the black produced wines you like?

Things I’ve done since I given up football (the last game I actively watched was 28-3):

Noun, verb, Obama.

Just my impressions from being plugged in to black activist, black Twitter, and black political orgs

Warren would be the best President. I don’t know if she is the most likely to beat Trump, but then again nobody does.

Doing it more than once per public speaking engagement would just be tacky :D

Yea, I smell a change in the air. This is pure speculation, but I also am getting a sense that “electability” voters are starting to realize that Biden is the real “Clinton 2.0" with a lot of the same vulnerabilities. And “electability” is the #1 consideration for something like 90% of black voters  over 40.

Similarly, the LA Times poll (generally seen as a bellwether in CA polling) has Warren doubling up Sanders and Biden on white voters (as in literally, both of their perentages combined) whilst being extremely competitive with Biden in Black voters (Biden 32 / Warren 24) in California.

Exactly this. Why would she convince me, a white woman, when my interests have already been addressed broadly since I (mostly) benefit from the status quo? Don’t call me or invite me for a beer Liz, speak to those who truly need the representation and voice in our government at the highest level.

That paragraph is Anne’s opinion/writing, not based on what Warren or her people are saying (for I can’t imagine anyone admitting ignoring any group of people who could vote for you).

Biden, still awash in the light of Barack Obama’s presidency

“So you like her trashing Obama for giving speeches and getting paid for it?”

That’s politics blood. The mudslinging ain’t real; it’s like wrestling. Also, I’ll give her a pass on the Native American thing. Shiiiit, I heard that enough from Black folks my whole life. Politicians are tools and as long as that tools

kill yourself

I’ve pointed this out in a couple other posts, but Quinnipiac’s polls show that over the last three months Biden’s support among black voters has dropped from 53% to 40% while Warren has jumped from 3% to 19%.

You like her lame ass pandering to black voters late in the game?

This will change. Clinton was Queen of South Carolina, too, in 2008. When they move, they move big, and they will move soon enough.

“...Biden is the clear darling among black voters in the state,...”
