Charged with child abuse? Still allowed to keep his badge, still allowed to work with children? The zeroes on the end of this check will be never ending.

Meanwhile, these poor babies will have to live with this trauma for the rest of their lives. No amount of apologies after the fact can undo that. He should have never been allowed near those kids in the first damn place. I'm betting he will be in another school soon enough. Probably a high school. 

Black cops are still cops and law enforcement is trash regardless of color.

Remember, black officers can be just as bad if not worse to people of color. It’s about a police culture of racial bias, not just the color of the officer behind the badge.

He should never been allowed to work around children or young people. as a police officer or in any capacity where he was entrusted with the safety of other human beings.

Arresting a couple six year old kids... I’m pretty sure that counts as worse behavior.

Let the civil lawsuits begin. This man had red flags all up and down his ass. He should never been allowed to work around children or young people.

He will just get another gig in the next town/city nearby and the abuse of power cycle will continue...

Not surprised at all.  If you call the cops on them, the other officers will try to persuade you not to press charges or they just cover it up out right.

I’m glad the school made a statement that the principal requested that the arrest not take place. However, I wonder how it all went down. Did the teacher ask the officer for assistance? It should be a rare circumstance that the officer is involved in a disciplinary matter with kids that age.
