That is one of the keys, IMO. The price of fame weaves throughout the episode and season. The toll of fame on Al has been on display all season, and the drive thru scene layers Paper Boi into the toll of fame in Mr. Perkin’s house.

There has been a robbery in every episode. I like your explanation of Darius being robbed of Stevie Wonder. What else was robbed? Darius robbed of one of his regrets? Darius robbed of his piano (he did sign the paper work) by the murder-suicide and subsequently the cops taking it as evidence?

The importance of the Drive Thru scene to me is the price of fame (constant theme throughout) and how it is effecting Alfred/Paper Boi.
