I love this article. I mean, I hate Superman because he’s a terrible character and his only flaws are invented by the same omnipotent writer-god to make him more interesting, but I still enjoy the way the article breaks down the fantasy into a bite of reality - despite that it’s about comic books. The Good vs Good

I saw their show while I was in the Navy and was able to hang out when they practiced. Being that close to the F-18s is so loud that it almost becomes difficult to maintain a thought. Incredibly impressive stuff.

“Oil plug is stripped. Whoever did this last must have just jammed it back in place.”

do not want. I hope his old costume is included as an alternate. I have no problem with the Charlie Nash change, but you can’t just change a core player’s look. At least not this drastically. And at least not for the worse.

I don’t know that the justice system is well versed enough in electronic warfare to really be judicial about this case. The ruling found that “no substantial harm was done” but that’s simply not the case. There was probably hundreds of thousands in lost revenue and manhours spent addressing this. At least one person

Running With Rifles? (I like your name better) I’ll check out the demo tonight. Good tip!

this is my exact response. I clicked the link and got that far before my enthusiasm deflated entirely. I still think the top-down, loot-based gaming model is an untapped gold mine. If they made a military inspired game like Diablo 3, I’d be clawing over people to wait in line and throw money at it. Unless it was on

I’m bothered by the fact that the ice gun is a found item, meaning it’s entirely possible that you could go the whole game without it and be unable to figure out puzzles that require it. Also, it’s annoying to see the voice activated doors before you have synthesized the voice to open them.

just did this last night. Took me more tries than I’d care to invest, and drove me fucking nuts. I want a game to be challenging, but I don’t have enough gaming time to have to keep replaying the same level over and over. I finally stopped playing for the night on a watchtower mission with turrets that I can’t beat

I’m thinking more along the lines of mud and trails. I’d also like to hear when people use the locking diff, and 4WD on more difficult terrain, though.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but use 2WD unless you get stuck. If you get stuck and you’re already in 4WD, you better have a winch.

there’s literally an end spot one space over. I don’t care if the spot is a mile away from his destination. If he wanted to avoid any dings, he could have parked 10 more feet to the left.

Oh but it does. No one would ever sincerely say this.

In the past, XBL was superior to PS+ in pretty much every conceivable way. Sony realized this, and when PS4 came out, they stepped up their game. They offered games that were fun and well done, and they offered a LOT of them.

You tried to clear it up in other posts, but your original seems to pretty unfairly lay the blame on this console generation: This whole console generation is the shameless cash grab generation.

There’s an update to the article, and it still just rings of this guy being entirely out of touch:

You sure did! That should teach you to form opinions! Particularly ones that appear to be reinforced by people recommending your post.

you’re kidding yourself if you think this is limited to console gaming.

I still don’t feel that the game was worth the original $59.99 I paid for it. I’d be double outraged about this expansion if they hadn’t already screwed me over once. The whole game has been a bait and switch from the time it was announced. They could win back some fan loyalty if they were to offer some more content

Try stuff that you think wont work. Like try breaking glass windows that wouldn’t break in another game. Or try punching badmouthing criminals that are in a jail cell giving you a hard time. The few times I’ve tried this, I’ve been rewarded with very satisfying results.
