You can just log in whenever you want and play. But that's also what people are complaining about - because they are looking for the time sink that WoW is/was.

Personally, I have a life and other games to be played, so I really love the balance of time vs reward on FFXIV.

Surprisingly FFXIV has a lot of end game armor designs that look like they were right out of an Amano drawing. I think one of them even seems like a throwback to previous designs. It's like graphics finally got to the point to where his drawings can really be brought to life.

I see what you're saying but, I think it's just a "modern" tech UI. Apple largely ushered forth that whole modern Ikea furniture design into the tech/UI world. That's just where UI design is now - everyone is doing it because it's what people want now. Apple just kind of coined the simplistic/futuristic look.

I"m a gamer and I definitely care about comparison videos. If I own both a Ps3 and 360 and the same game looks/runs better on one console above the other - I'm going pick up the one that looks and runs better.
