Thanks for the member berries, Peter.  I got this game when I was maybe six years old and it was WAY too hard for a me at that age.  I was probably 11 or 12 by the time I finally beat it.  To have that kind of patience again...

Haven’t seen his show much, but I’ve heard similar opinions. Overall, I can’t think of a group of people, even Congress, that receive as much scorn as the sports media.

Honest question. Is there a sports media personality, be they journalist, tv host, color commentator, etc. that people actually like?

Did not know that. Thanks for the lesson.

Manning rules the Holy Roman Empire?

I guess the factory of sadness makes jelly too.

But air isn’t an ideal gas...

Edgy

0/10 Poor execution.

I have no idea what that means, but it feels like you’re trying to insult me. I’ll give you another chance if you’d like.

4164:1. Nice get.

I’d also suggest avoiding games that feature a bad beat jackpot. The casinos near me will take $7 out of a $50 pot when you factor in the rake and bad beat fee, and on top of that you’re expected to tip. That kind of take is really hard to overcome at a $1-2 game even if you’re a good player.

Ha. I worked at a company that certified these games. Some real interesting crap came through there.

Nope, they’re their own thing. The variance on those games is pretty low. It’s hard to win or lose too much if you play right.

I imagine it’s something along the lines of “He played the game the right way - the Cardinal way.”

That was the first game I ever owned. At 5 years old... it was really freakin hard! I don’t think I beat it until I was at least 10. I couldn’t imagine even playing a game for that long anymore - let alone suck at it the entire time.

All of the good games from back then had never-before-seen features and challenges. No Internet, walkthroughs, tutorial stages or hints. You just had to figure it out. It took some first-class patience.

The “Americans are fat, stupid slobs” stereotype isn’t exactly fair either. In Denver, you’re pretty much shamed for not climbing mountains and running half marathons. We don’t all live in Alabama.

F’real. Boogerman was good clean fun.

Check out the Deviant Art link at the beginning of the article. The level of narcissism contained on that page is upsetting. The comments there and articles like these only fuel it.
