"Witcher's parallel being Poland's history with "white" racism via its Jewish population" -> this and Polish/Ukrainian animosities during and before WW2 (esp. scoia'tael in Blood of the elves). Sapkowski gleefully mixed in cultural&historical references… Can't say how many made it to the English version though.
