Counter-point: I found this movie stupid and tiresome despite a couple of excellent scenes (I fully understand why Rucker insisted on keeping that one particular scene as a hard contractual matter so it couldn’t be edited out). I *wanted* it to be a lot better, but it really was nothing more than a transparent attempt…
