I was hoping that in the end of the What if? episode where the main Avengers were killed that they would throw fans a bone by implying that the Netflix characters would step up as Avengers but they seem determined to ignore them and Agents of SHIELD.

On one hand, fuck people who purposely make their vehicles loud. On the other hand, more surveillance is rarely the answer.

The official show podcast is the 2020s equivalent of the 2000s webisode mashed up with dvd extras.

“even up into the eighteenth century we were hammering our national manikins into one, great, Universal Man”

not in my case. I have a high credit score and I pay off my credit card bill every month.

So the whole movie is going to be a set up for the Dr. Strange movie then?

There is zero chance that BBC will ever allow someone who isn’t from the UK to be the show runner of Doctor Who. If they didn’t allow an American like Joe Hill to write an episode they aren’t going to let one run the show

So he’s taking cues from Scientology now? They were famous for buying tons of L Ron Hubbard books to get him on the best seller list.

It was great hearing Chadwick again. It was fun but it just seems like replacing Peter Quill with someone else who just happens to be a hero is kind of an odd choice for a story to tell.

What is Feige supposed to say about the Johansson lawsuit? Are we expecting him to know all the ins and outs of her contract? This is up to the lawyers not the creatives.

My boss was unvaccinated and now is fighting covid. Hopefully, Boss will recover. It infuriates me though because not only could Boss die but it is throwing work into chaos. I teach college and our semester starts this week. Class assignments were still up in the air until yesterday. Now we are scrambling to cover

I was behind one of these cars this morning at a stop light. I thought it was a sticker or something for some brand I didn’t know about.

The start of this season of Supergirl was so bad I gave up on it. I understand Mellissa Benoist wanting time off for maternity leave but the storyline was so bad. Legends is the only DC/CW show I still watch.

It seems that they purposely didn’t go with “Captain Britain.” I wonder what the reason was. Do they want to avoid any hinting at mutants (even though Captain Britain isn’t a mutant he has somewhat inexplicably been strongly associated with them)

People (and young white men, in particular it seems) seem to think that if something is theirs then it can’t be someone else’s too. And that if you like a characters or book or movie that something else coming out be it spin-off, sequel, or remake, doesn’t magically erase the thing you liked.

At least Vince McMahon actually owns WWE (or did before it went public and he is still presumably the largest stock owner). Stan Lee was little more than the mascot of Marvel for decades. While he got a lot more money from Marvel than Jack Kirby or Steve Ditko or any of the others, Lee still got a pittance compared to

I realize CIA Chimp is for kids but wow that trailer seems bad. No hint that there might be a reason why they assign a Chimp to this mission, super bad acting, and bad CGI are all things that make me glad I don’t have kids and won’t be forced to watch this.
