Tilda does kinda do that. Still, she never treated Margaret like a servant, etc.

Anyone can be a minority. I live in Japan right now; believe me I am a big-time minority. Haven’t seen a non-Asian face in days. If I ripped every Japanese person who asked some ridiculous question or commented on my big nose or touched my (slightly too large) belly...I’d go crazy.
White people are represented more in Hollywood movies than black people because white people make up about 62% of the US population, so of course that will be true. It’s called capitalism.

Yes, Chi (sp?) was polite in the email...and then ripped Tilda behind her back.. Regardless of ethnic background, that’s some BS.
Could the reason for “whitewashing” be that the majority of American audience members is white, and producers have felt that they’ll relate to faces that look like theirs? Not saying that’s right, but that’s probably the root.
She didn’t used to be. But, this is the second time I’ve seen Margaret recently where she seems very bitter and not humorous in the least, which used to be her bread and butter.
OK. And, here’s what is aggravating about being white and talking to black people about race: Most of us didn’t have anything to do with those centuries of maltreatment! My family, for example, never stepped foot in America until the 20th century. My mom’s mother came from a family of 9 kids; she stopped going to…
Cho will win by one point.
I think your last sentence explains most of it. You (and I ) are white, so we need to STFU...whether what is being said makes sense or not.
Cho’s description of this conversation does not match the actual conversation IN THE LEAST. Tilda is clearly bending over backward not to offend, but Cho obviously took maximum offense anyway, even inventing scenarios whole cloth (“...like I’m her house servant...”). Please Margaret, don’t be that person. You’re…
Sorry. I wasn’t trying getting on your case specifically. Just speaking in general.
Indeed, the govt death squads who killed 38 unarmed black men (in 2015, according to WaPo). Considering that there are about 19,000,000 black men in America, that works out to 1 in 500,000; or 0.0002%. Don’t get me wrong, I’d rather the number was zero, but calling cops “death squads” is wrong. What about the 7039…
You’re speaking my language. That’s why neither Hillary nor Trump got my vote. Granted, I don’t know the answer to the constant violence of the Middle East, but 15 years seems more than enough of our meddling. Furthermore, the “no boots on the ground” policy of Obama seems like a cop out. Dead is dead, whether by…
After all is said and done, the mainstream media may be the #1 biggest loser of the 2016 campaign. Trump got under their skin and they went after him “bigly.” I’ve never witnessed such partisan “reporting.” Even just today a politico reporter got canned for suggesting on twitter that The Donald is having carnal…
There was always that one USC poll that had Trump winning throughout. Could never figure it out. Turns out their method was to poll the same group from beginning to end. It showed that through all the craziness, people changed their minds very little.
The one memorable fight the Dems did pick in 2016 was over gun control when they all sat down on the floor of the House of Representatives and refused to move. Worthy cause, but the sight of a bunch of old, overfed politicians sitting around like children on a play date was not great optics.
Respectfully disagree re Comey costing HRC, 1%. I think voters had more or less made up their minds by then.
Wait, Trump takes credit for the good and blames others for the bad? Jeez, he really is a politician after all.
Hillary had the difficult job of, on one hand, touting Obama’s great recovery (Isn’t America doing great now!) while at the same time acknowledging the folks who are poor and pissed off. Trump had no such dilemma. He lambasted Obama at every turn from his outsider position.
