I'm that wasn't the 2015 mustang. It was a mid '80s mustang 5.0 that some industrious Jalop had restomoded and was driving in 2015....

What GM did with the GTO was lazy. They took and iconic brand and reintroduced it by putting a big engine into a Chevy Corsica. The should have followed Ford's lead with the Mustang.

The thing about that is, is that airshows are (nowadays) incredibly safe for spectators, there is a big zone between them and the planes and at no point do the planes ever come toward or fly over the crowd. Only perpendicular to the crowd.

Not exactly what you're getting at, but if these were never modified, it'd prevent the existence of a whole slew of horrible things.
