Ya I get what they were going for, but I guarantee this guy cringed when he read that quote. The point was that he tries to do right by the customer, but people do not typically respond well to a salesman telling them they can’t afford what he’s selling.

Ya it’s not like the dealership sits down and re-writes sales contracts off-the-cuff as needed. But you’re probably right, next time Ford will have a GT-specific contract that they will require dealers to use, because this one guy couldn’t follow the clearly defined rules.
