Many people in the comments seem to think that the router manufacturers need to rush out new firmwares ASAP. But if you actually read the article it clearly says that end point devices (i.e. your phone) are the ones that need updating; routers need not change anything.

My friends thought about that feature, too, but we realized it probably wouldn’t be terribly fair. For example, how do you calculate the damage for the hunting horn? Often times it’s not trying to optimize damage output but aiming for a specific combo that will grant bonuses to the team, not to mention the downtime…
