The Nissan whatever and terrible driver and/or low credit score joke has been around here for years. Last week was what is the best first car for a teenager. I think you are reaching for outrage on this one.

Good answer, but I think that targets a specific demographic. There were a lot of older folks that went the direction of reliable, cheap transportation. The ones that made Scion such an old-folks brand and bought Aveos and Sonics and Fiestas, because why drop big $$ on a Caddy that’s parked half the year while you’re

Apparently every single bushing, ball joint and wheel bearing was bullet proof in the 70s....

You can totally see the influence from Chrysler’s cab-forward Dodge Intrepid design. What Chrysler used to do! Now, I feel old because that was thirty years ago.

The other day I was fed an ad that boasted: “The New Buick’s Will Astound You” featuring a picture of the Avista. Then you click the links and it’s nothing but crossovers. I was like “fuck you for lying to me like this, Buick!”

Funny, both of these are GM concepts. It is criminal that none of these were ever close to production, yet we got Celestiq.

The 1999 Dodge Charger concept:

Honestly the tire rotation is more to look at the brakes to see the inside brake pads then it is to even out the tire wear most of the time.  Brake jobs are gravy work (if everything goes right).

I’m assuming to keep up with the Joneses or they just want the newest version?

Heard my neigbours saying they were paying $1195 a month for their new Lexus RX, I don’t understand that sort out finance deal. But at least it’s a vehicle that’s known for reliability (generally).

Holy negative equity and shitty credit BATMAN! That is a fucking whopper. At least everyone will think he is cool since he is paying nice MB money for a Kia!!!

How do you see that you’re about to pay $150K for a Kia and not just laugh your ass off and walk away?

The salesman never left his desk during the sale because he didn’t want the buyer to see the massive boner he had the whole time.

Underwater on current car and rolling it into the payment?

Wow... over $1800/month... that’s about what I spend on my mortgage, utilities and property tax COMBINED.

I wouldn’t finance any car for 7 years, at any more than a couple percent. Any car you have to finance for 7 years is too expensive for you.

Said it before and I’ll say it again. Kia and Hyundai dealerships are NOT used to selling cars at these price points. The clientele is in a much different financial status than the ones coming in to buy a base budget vehicle with ads of getting 2 Kias for $222/mo. It was so frustrating dealing with Hyundai trying to

Be on the lookout for a repo-ed EV9 for sale in that area in about a year or so...  There isn’t a car out there for sale worth that awful deal.  Never mind the EV depreciation.

Shame on every person involved with this transaction.

That’s several hundred dollars per month more than the monthly mortgage payment (incoming tax and insurance escrow) for my lovely 2 story brick home in the suburbs. For a Kia. That’s bonkers
