Well, I have a 2004 S600 designo. They made 250 for 2004, and mine is one of about 30 in the world configured like it is. Originally it was a $12,000 option, but it hardly adds anything to the re sale.

DO IT

Funnily enough, the Maybach S600 has a chrome B pillar

The maybach S600

Cannibalize two 8.1 l suburban’s to make a monster 16.2 liter W16/V16 racing suburban and then dominate the local auto cross

Hmm. Well that’s embarrassing . I never knew the made a V12. I thought the only “big” engine was the mighty V16

I sat in one at the autoshow last year and the interior bits were noticeably behind the curb even compared to my 12 year old S class. Granted, mine has the designo leather option, but still a car competing with the new S class should feel better than a decade old S class.

Yeah, I agree that they have much better things to spend money on. And the pre war engine was a V-16

Is there any of the tacky plastic that plagues the interior of the equus ? I would hope that they got rid of it for the new brand.

Well you say that, but Mercedes is developing a brand new V12 for their new supercar, which will go down the line into the S600/65 and the other V12 engined Mercedes.

Maybe that wasn’t the best way to phrase it, but in my eyes a least having a V12 or V16 comes with a lot of brand cachet . That and V12's are just pretty damn cool.

Hello Mr. Ellinghaus, I was wondering if Cadillac had any intention of making a V12 or V16 engined car to combat the Mercedes S600/65, the BMW 760, or the Audi W12. Similarly, do you have any plans to build a Maybach/Bentley/Rolls competitor ?

The motor probably isn't too bad off, but I'd imagine that the electronics are borked

In other news, PlayStation has been hacked again... Meanwhile, Xbox continues to function as normal.

So post facelift then

What year is your S55 ?

I have that too, it's just annoying.
