Ah yes now I see it: Jay cutlet leads the free agent QB crop as a decidedly mediocre option with a strong arm so some team shells out big money to sign him to a laughable contract
God how foolish of me to forget: the Browns exist
I honestly don’t know what to do with Cutler. Bench him and try and trade him I guess? But who would trade for him at this point I’m his career?
Sometimes I wonder if forcing these guys to delete stupid tweets is the best plan. I mean I doubt anyone believes this guy is a changed person now that the team essentially called and said “delete your tweet so it can’t be found). Maybe it’s better just to let the guy state his (very stupid) views and we can judge him…

My question is how representative are police unions of the feelings of the average officer? Is this a small group that uses its power to speak for many or are there 100s or 100s of officers voting for the unions to put out these asshole statements?
I don’t even have a joke. That was awesome. Hope he’s not punished for it
The real question my friend is why are you commenting on articles at 3:42 am?!
This (the laughing, not the segment being shown) is such a non story. They were laughing as they set up Petty’s mic not at the rapes Baylor tried to cover up.
I feel bad for Harbaugh. I think he really thinks someone could have saved Walkers life, albeit in the most football coach way. “I noticed a young guy doing a dangerous activity i don’t approve of, surely he’ll listen to me.” The logic he is using is bad but I’m not gonna get too mad at him for thinking he could have…
He wasn’t asked about his support or lack of support for the reason behind Kaepernick’s protest though. He was asked about the specific act of standing for the anthem.
I don’t think it’s a strawman. I think it’s just years of people being taught that the flag/anthem represents out country and the military. Torts now had a family connection to the military and he (wrongly) sees disrespect to the flag/anthem as disrespect to the military/ his son. Of course he’s probably never heard…
I’m pretty sure Torts’ son in an army ranger. I saw an interview where he was talking about trying to get away from referring to games as battles and wars out of respect for the military. I’m guessing that’s where this is sentiment is coming from. Like he’s excited to represent his country on a small scale level while…
I wasn’t following this case too carefully but didn’t he or someone else post screenshots of the woman proving he was innocent? Or was that a different case?
Closest thing I could find was an interview also with RD from last year where Aikman said at the time his lawyers said to just ignore it as it would die out but it never did and he regrets listening to that and not addressing the rumor.
Ya I had never heard that story before and that makes me a little skeptical. Perhaps he had addressed it before but for whatever reason the guy rumour stuck? I’ll have to look into it
I was surprised by that too and also kinda surprised that RD, a writer a like a lot, didn’t mention that besides the link. Then again RD had had an axe to grind with Bayless for years
When it comes to football video games The NCAA games > Madden
I feel so bad for Todd Gurley. Have fun running into 8 man fronts the rest of your LA career!
