Total aside: surely FIBA/the IOC can relax the rules on “coaches must wear lanyards at all times,” right?

Now that’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time...a long time.

This sounds like a stupid thing to say, but that’s why it’s so key that Dr. Strange said there was “one” scenario where they win, not “two” (which would still be astronomically tiny).

What we did for our several-hundred-DVD collection: we bought storage boxes from Target and 1,000 CD sleeves from Amazon, then just took the discs out of the cases and filed them alphabetically in sleeves in the boxes.

How so?

My wife and I went to the bar over Christmas break to meet two of her female friends. I wanted to bring my Kindle because I knew I really wouldn’t be much of a participant in any conversation; however, I acknowledge that it could’ve been perceived as purposefully rude and anti-social.

(almost a month later)

<4 years later>

...yeah this is kind of what I meant.

Sorry what?

True, I’m just spitballing here. ND is the closest to kryptonite UConn has ever had aside from Tennessee. I just remember being put in a bad mood from UConn losing to ND more times than them losing to anybody else.

Notre Dame is always UConn’s kryptonite, anyway.

I want to see it on the big screen so badly. I was about 6 or 7 when it was in theaters (and never got to go), which was the perfect age to think of Jurassic Park as some big, intangible, scary idea.

Can I borrow a fork?

No.

My wife hadn’t watched it, so I binged it with her. Once Michael left, I told her we could stop.

That was basically his character in Yes Man.

I haven’t actually gone back to watch D3 to confirm this, but lately I’ve been wondering if it’s actually the best movie of the three. I always thought Charlie was just too angsty and whiny, but I remembered there’s a lot of coming-of-age and reality check stuff.

It’s a proto-takedown of the “participation trophies ruin everything!” crowd.

Don’t sell yourself short by calling it just a “theory,” because i’m 100% sure that’s exactly what happened.
