It wasnt quite that much. It was more like 1800-2000 a month depending on weekend usage. I was paying for CA premium gas though which was up to around $4 a gallon when I sold it.

It’s the same platform and better in almost every way in including more suspension travel, more power, nicer interior, and it’ll be more expensive across all trim ranges. And it comes in a TRD pro suspension that is more expensive components than KDSS. Not sure of it's better.
When capacity exceeds demand it’ll be too late to design a new cheaper car. Forward-thinking CEOs plan ahead for this eventuality. For TSLA, competition is growing and getting better with each passing week. (See Europe for a glimpse of what’s destined to happen in the US).
Spending a huge sum of money to save little bits of money makes it cheap...haha. Like savving money on a new sweater becuase it was on sale when you didn’t actually need it.
I hope I die before the world is full of people who think as you do.
Came here to say this. Take a star. Averages are the most commonly used, yet drastically misunderstood, figures in a lot of areas.
Put me in the “rather put that money towards a better quality of life or savings for a future better quality of life” category as well.
“Will there ever be a cheap Tesla new car?”
FJ is a terrible idea for a family SUV. Sitting in the back seat is like sitting in a cave.
maybe it is less shocking since it is not the first time I’m seeing it, but the grill on this thing doesn’t look anywhere near as vomit inducing as on the new Tundra.
That’s also how Red Bull became so big. They introduced 250ml cans, which were unique at the time, and charged ridiculous prices to fool people into thinking the product was special.
1st: Tesla Model 3 is NOT a luxury car. It is basically a classic mid-size (compact?) EV sedan, more like a Camry or Civic.
I'm sure the Model 3 is as luxurious as a similarly priced Rav4
That might be a fun Question of the Day: What does the term “luxury” mean to you?
You can make all the arguments in the last para (except price) about the Maverick. So, it sounds like ‘expensive = luxury’
No OEM’s are making vehicles that are only meant to last a 3 year lease. Stop this.
Further proof the term ‘luxury’ has no real meaning.
Tesla is not a luxury automobile brand. They don’t even have massaging seats. You know what has available massage seats? The F-150.
Just selling a car for a high price does not make it a “luxury” car.
One can only guess these folks have never sat inside a Tesla. Luxury wouldn’t be the first word that comes to mind.
