Except it is - it draws its name from aeronautics and it’s the same concept - it’s an aid, but still requires pilot attention. Same here.

Show me one thing that Tesla has put out that says anything at all about it being “fully autonomous”.

I also firmly believe that “blame it on autopilot” will become a default excuse from drivers who use autopilot so that they can do things that they deem more important that paying attention, and not accept responsibility for anything that happens due to their own negligence.

This is just becoming ridiculous! I highly doubt there is an issue with Autopilot. I strongly feel the issue lies with the drivers inappropriately using the feature.
