For those people on the fence regarding this console, and are now facing the final opportunity to purchase one: I love my Wii U dearly and I genuinely believe that anyone else who loves Japanese games will also. This isn’t a professional marketing shill but... there’s quality software here.

One thing I’ve learned from working in-game customer support for a videogame company is: never underestimate a player’s ability to absolutely screw themselves over beyond any hope of recovery. It feels slow only in terms of the length of the sets. Actual deaths occur mad fast in comparison to Smash4. Kill % are much lower than in later editions and movement speed has no comparison. It’s actually a faster game to play. So faster to move and kill = more stocks (4 to be exact) per set.

Play FFXV first to avoid spoilers and to engage in discussions about the game. Then, after being thoroughly disappointed, play Dragon Quest.

I totally lost my shit when this happened. Crash Bandicoot was such a big part of my childhood and I had a stupid grin on my face the entire time I played. I also loved the jabs about it taking forever to load and how people just want their games to be instantaneous.

also the repeition wasnt entirely terrible. turn off encounters, and each boss gave a little blurb of info. I didn’t hate it, but I mean I maxed out everything.
