Under Windoze 8/8.1 I’ve had updates break Wifi! Meaning my computer was essentially half-bricked. Took me two infuriating days and multiple reinstalls to figure out it was some update causing it (and no, I’m not spending another 3-4 days narrowing it down to find out which exact update).
