If I lay off everyone, I won’t have to pay any salaries at all.

What’s the problem exactly?

“I usually check my emails while on my autopilot commute to work”

Agreed  - rarity claim would indicate boomer.

don’t tell the boomers that!

at this point you’d think contrived rarity would almost be a negative on listings like this

Chrome wheels and a luggage rack. Plus the standard “Only 1 of x painted this color with a black interior, manufactured on a Tuesday in a leap year, makes it very rare...”

Speaking of tires, I just recently bought a new set. Same exact ones as before. Price had increase almost 30%.

Agreed. It really should be, at worst, a zero-dollar option to get the smaller wheels. I don’t know why the trend across the board seems to be higher trim means you automatically get a worse ride and fuel economy.

Pro mechanic checking in, Hiiiiii!

First off, I love your money AND your car. Bring me your car and your checkbook. I do excellent work, and I charge for it, but not as much as your local dealership.

But.....let me cut the facetious shit, and tell you....if I can do it, you can do it. I wasn’t born with some special

Nothing like running over a nail and Costco telling you that they gotta replace all four.

My 2008 Venza has 20" rims and it’s about $1300 to replace them. I just had the struts/shocks replaced too and that ran about $1700. Thank god I own the car.

Going to miss my cushy 17's when eventually replace my current ride as I want more premium equipment options (I’ve reached a point in life where I can afford to get and have found I thoroughly enjoy) which now are almost always tied into the biggest wheel sizes. For example I would like a Prius, Limited as love hot

This fact is so ridiculous. I remember in ~2008 when rappers would brag about having 20's and they would only come stock on things like escalades or as an added option on something like a 7 series. The fact these giant rims have gotten so common as to be equipped on an outlander is ridiculous.

this is a good point. a $28,000 Mitsubishi Outlander comes factory with 20 inch wheels. that’s $1000 for CHEAP tires.

Forget repairs, how about a set of tires now that every SUV comes with 21 inch wheels.

Dipshit buys Tesla.

At least yours likely has better resale value.

No, because you don’t have to buy new cars.

When exactly did the government mandate the killing of small hatchbacks and sedans?
