remember twitter like all social media is filled with trolls. they troll in both directions. I know a lot of people who drive teslas and I chat with hundreds of them regularly online. None of them think Elon is God or that Tesla is infallible. in fact we spend a lot of time bitching about our Teslas. 

depends on how fast you hit the curb and what part of the vehicle hits. Curb rash is 99% slow speed parking, drive-throughs, etc.

What if it becomes clear that this guy jumped a curb hotdogging? If it’a defect they should replace it parts and labor. If it’s his fault, he should have to pay for it and maybe some extra for libel. This shouldn’t be rocket science, have an insurance adjustor or a certified mechanic put the car on a lift.

it all depends on where the force goes - I slid a Jetta into a curb maybe 5-10 mph lateral speed at most. it bent suspension parts made from folded steel (not cast). There wasn’t a mark on the car, because the rubber of the tire hit the curb, not the rim.
