I'm not sure I consider the decision to publish this article a wise one. If you are going to encourage dangerous behavior, you really should devote much more space and resources to mitigating the risk you are encouraging, especially in as potentially deadly a risk as eating wild fungus.
I just bought a new monitor and discovered that the incredible brightness of today's monitors is headache-inducing. I've turned the brightness down to 20%. I don't know why new LED monitor technology has to be bright enough to give you a tan, but that's what it looks like.
