@valadil: That was part of the point of creating this dark theme. It really helped highlight for devs where the problems lie so that they could address them. You can now see quite a few dark themes that have been fixed because of this. For example, check out NewWave and Dust. They address a lot of the issues

@reg4c: It's doubtful whether OO.o 3.0 will be included in the upcoming Intrepid Ibex release due how late in the cycle it was released. It should be available in the Hardy and Intrepid backports sometime in the near future, I'm sure.

@sunken: I'm not 100% sure, but I thought that any time that you're logged in under you own username and password (via ssh or remote desktop) you'll have access to the directory. I could be wrong though.

Do people want to upgrade their version of Windows? Seems like if MS makes the Windows release schedule more frequent, they'll start being criticized the way many Linux distros are for having to upgrade too frequently. I just want to second delphine's plug for the Gnome-Do Tasque plugin. Highlight some text in a document or on a web page, Super+space, and start typing "new task" and you can easily add something to your to-do list. Make sure you grab the latest Gnome-Do and Tasque from the launchpad PPAs if you want good

What's with all the people saying "well this just doesn't work as well as iTunes with my iPod"? It doesn't? Well no sh*t. You expect any third party program to be able to handle your proprietary hardware better than its proprietary software counterpart? Not likely. It's kind of the point of their whole set up.

If you're on the fence about buying this, I'd like to point out that OpenOffice 3 is already in Beta 2 with a RC due out on Monday. The new final version is due out on Sept 16th.
