Maybe. But even if you don't tell him why, I think if he was left out of the party he'd figure it out for himself. Forcing the other mom to invite him just reinforces the idea that no matter what he does, mommy and daddy will get him what he wants. Jane and Raf don't seem willing to respect other parents' concerns…

That aside, it irked me that Jane/Raf/Petra basically forced Jackson's mom to invite Mateo to the party. How about telling him he's not invited because of his behavior? Hard lessons would probably have more impact than a cloud sticker.
