Having learned to drive in a Miata, and later buying both cars that I've owned (an ST204 Celica and a Mazda MP3) with that little pedal on the left, I have never owned a car with an automatic gearbox, like many of us on this site. And very recently, I had the privilege of driving a BMW 535 with the steptronic gearbox

You gotta give them credit for the name though! +1 for marketing and originality

I nominate the Honda 225.

Damn, thought someone might have let this one slip by! Agreed, horrible engine and a let down indeed.

What was the engine in the Plymouth Prowler? All that flash with the body work and the open wheels, and it had a 3.5 liter - 6 and only produced 214 hp (the same featured in the 300M). By comparison an NSX of the same year generation made about 280? Am I right in believing this thing only came mated to an automatic?

The very original? Because those were only available in Germany before they were brought state-side.

Everyone is going for sports cars. The German's love their sports cars. The Beetle is obvious. However, the modern SUV, as an activity vehicle, a grocery getter and an overall "soccer mom" kid-mobile would not have been the same without the M-Benz ML320.

That made me LOL.

You gotta check out the BMW film, "Ambush" for the gun-fire. Everyone went with the Madonna video, friggin' Guy Ritchie.

You gotta enjoy the original BMW film though, albeit, not an M5.

Everyone was thinking of the Madonna BMW film. I don't think of Guy Ritchie as enough of a car nut, evidenced by his very boring interview on SIARPC on TopGear.

Ahh, see everyone went with the BMW film, "Star". I was referring to the original BMW film "Ambush".

Italian Mafia would opt for the F150 edition, no?

Second hand aren't they about 25-30k?

Amen! I listed the sport, but a +1 for actually getting the pic to load.

Range Rover Sport.

BMW M5, 550, or 750.

Aston Martin DBS or DB5. Make your lady feel like a Bond girl. Better bring some champagne and Beluga to slip inside the center armrest, though.

Porsche 550 Spyder. James Dean, anyone?

In what would be typical TopGear fashion, I give you the Mini Countryman. The German's seemed to identify a car that was quintessentially British by fitting teabags. This one comes with two sushi chefs and a "functional center rail"?
