While I agree the whitewashing is unfortunate, it was clear in the manga/anime that L was not Japanese. But I feel that Light has to be Japanese. There was no one fresh out of high school here in the states that I knew who was as remotely intelligent as Light or as structured.

It certainly looks great for portability. But I feel the Switch in handheld mode is already excellent, although I sometimes accidentally chuck a nice weapon off of a cliff in Zelda.

They made one for phones and PC. But I really don’t like the sprite designs. They aren’t as gritty as the original.

While I agree with you that it is arguably the greatest game ever made, I have to say the best version is on the DS. Haha yeah I just commented to somebody else about Vaan and how he was just an empty husk for you to walk around as. But IX was just beautiful and had such great character development. The hardships Vivy goes through and self discovery alone would’ve made an excellent story.

It was at times and Vaan was one of the lamest characters ever. He was essentially just an avatar and served no purpose to the story but I loved the other characters Han Solo 007 and Chewbacca Bunny lady were really cool.
