Google Music is already integrated well with Android; I've been using it since the beta was out:

You know what would be smaller than a SIM card? A username/password you enter into your phone when you buy it. Then you don't need any extra hardware at all, and you can still switch devices.

I know the US is lagging behind in terms of broadband speed, but I haven't heard any comparisons for mobile data.

RFID chips are passive, they have no battery, no GPS, no CPU, nothing. All they contain is an ID number which can be read using an RFID reader chip.

It's actually good for development because the ARM emulator for PC runs as slow as fecal material uphill in january (Note: the iPhone SDK doesn't actually emulate an ARM chip). This is on a pretty high-end rig, too.
