As far as I can tell, both pilots going down, requiring someone else flying the plane is a situation so unlikely it has only happened once

This is a sad and surprising news. RIP Stevenson. He was such a great actor and will be missed.

Will it be able to tell me my future too?

I never forget when I first watched De Caestecker as Evil Fitz. He acted it so well, the transition from the meek, gentle version of Fitz was so jarring.

“Woke.”

And will they bring back the exploding chewing gum?

Says someone who didn’t pay his office rent.

The dumbest but arguably the coolest moment for me might be the whole submarine chase sequence in The Fate of the Furious.

Me too.

Now playing

Attacked by the Meg from behind, similar to this scene from Deep Blue Sea.

Damn, that lady got Sam Jackson’ed.

This is *not* the way.

Am I just lucky or are the few problems referenced a loud minority?

Right? What are the odds.

It was a good browser. But then Microsoft felt the need to install craps such as shopping and buy-now-pay-later options which are enabled by default. And the Bing Discovery which at first you could only disable through registry edit. MS finally included that option in Settings, but it’s still enabled by default.

I meant “more versatile” in terms of OS. Since it’s running Windows 11, you can install different game launchers instead of limited to Steam. Heck, you can even install MS Word or Excel if you incline to.

I’m really looking forward to the Ally’s proper reviews. Since it will be running Windows 11, it looks to be more versatile than Steam Deck. Of course, Windows has its own problems, but we’ll see.

The wall-running and -jumping were fine for a couple of earlier levels. Once it got more complicated, it became an exercise in patience. Patience as in resisting the urge to throw my controller onto the wall.

From the previous the Verge’s article I’ve read, it would be running a full-fledged Windows 11. So, you’ll be able to run Steam, Xbox Game Pass, and the others. It can also connect to eGPU for even better performance.

You remember it better than I do :-) I agree with everything you wrote about the game. It was a near perfect game; the level design, the music score, the combat mechanics, the choose-your-path storyline. They were what made the game so immersive.
