I always loved the swipe down to see the notification drawer feature on my Pixel 3, and missed it when I moved to my current iPhone. The closest gesture I could get on the iPhone was enabling double tap to pull down the notification drawer.

That too, although I don’t remember seeing it mentioned in the trailers. What really sold me was the scene where Quill unrolled his middle finger and it was blurred with the warning “Vulgar gesture imminent” (or something like that). I knew this movie was going to be fun :-)

With GotG, I think they knew what the movie was about and its tone and marketed it accordingly.

I’m not sure if Jaws was supposed to be a horror movie, and I watched it when I was older (middle school). But I avoided swimming into the ocean for years, even to this day. I’m okay with wading into the waters, but only up to my calf. I refuse to go all in. Really put a damper on my aspiration as a marine biologist :|
