Another vote for Windows Defender. Is it perfect? No, but it works invisibly in the background and doesn’t slow down your system. That’s good enough for me. Pair it with Malwarebytes Free to detect other malware than viruses, and you should be good.

Yeah, Bose still pushes the defective firmware through its app because they claim nothing wrong with it. At least Apple pulled theirs.

It did. Which led to a conspiracy theory that Bose bricked their own headphones so the customers were forced to buy the 700s. Whether it’s true or not, who knows.

Bose QC35 II headphones had the same problem last summer; the latest firmware broke the ANC. To my knowledge, they haven’t really fixed the issue, besides replacing the headphones.
