Bump! Looks like the latest Raspberry Pi 3 model resolves many complaints of earlier models. With 4 USB 2.0 ports and built-in WiFi.
Try intentionally “over-shooting” the target letters and then moving back-and-forth in one continuous swiping motion until you get where you need to be. This works for me so much better than trying to hit it exactly.
Do you use the Swipe gestures? For me, swiping handles probably 95% of my entry. Actually tapping keys has (almost) become a thing of the past. Swiping is certainly not perfect, but for me, it has been highly accurate and very fast.
The competition in this is wonderful for us! I was always stuck on SwiftKey because of its excellent optional row of Arrow keys, but this gesture addition to Google has proven to be an excellent alternative. Neither is 100% perfect, but Google has made some great strides lately. StiftKey is still my benchmark, but so…

We generally keep to the above rather religiously, except for chocolate and coffee. One of our dogs absolutely LOVES coffee! She’s a 40 pound dog, so we only give her about 1/4 cup cold with milk and sugar (she also adores milk!) and we only give it to her maybe 3-4 times per year.
