it's for iced beverages :)

I suppose that's if you're even in favor of the start screen to begin with. I find it a very obnoxious waste of my time. I used windows 8 for a few months and became so irritated with it that I re-installed windows 7. It's backwards and silly on any desktop environment. And yes, I tried Start 8, but having to use

bazinga!

I just want to use this opportunity to ask why there's all this talk about crossover frequency control, when all my sub has is something called a "low pass filter" is that the same thing with a different name?

I'm going to share this around with some people, see how they like it. It's a neat concept, not sure if it's better than what they already have though, so we'll see :)

I'm neither here nor there. Perhaps it's no longer necessary, but it's certainly not worth worrying about. I guess that's what people like you are here for, though.

and that's why machines are so scary looking when they walk.

perhaps it would start to fall, but not before it put the third leg back down. Most people will fall if they keep one leg off the floor too long, but we can still manage walking.

Lightyears doesn't measure time, it measures distance!

So I actually bought the Dell UltraSharp U2711 27" Display that was the runner up, based on your post, so thanks. It seems like it will be a good one.

I would suggest investing a few dollars in Tasker. It has a learning curve, but I use it to have my WiFi turn on whenever I'm in at a certain location (via GPS) and turn off when I leave it. Caveat to that is leaving GPS on, but I'm comfortable with that small sacrifice for never NOT having WiFi on at home.

A poorly executed good idea.

Also, all apps are very much idiotic on a desktop and I'm glad to be able to avoid using them. None of it makes any sense on anything except a smaller monitor with a touch interface.

Might I suggest Bins @ http://www.1upindustries.com/bins/

Here's mine, because I got tired of the Windows 8 Launcher.

It happened to me for the first time today. I sent two texts to a guy and each were different numbers.

Anyone that talks about how bad the graphics are has never learned anything about how games are developed.

I'm sorry, but that's not quite right. It still uses the iPod/iPhone's DAC. The advantage to an LOD for audiophiles is that it bypasses the built-in amp, allowing the use of a superior one. This new dock connector can only put out a digital signal so if you use a lightning-to-usb cable you could use an external DAC

Hey, you don't have to tell everyone where he's from, that's just embarrassing for those who live in the area.
